medicine for a wide spectrum
of ailments.
The rest of the world is gradually
catching on to the health benefits
of drinking Chinese tea.

Why Tea & Spas?
Tea throughout the world still symbolizes
a welcoming into a household and establishment.
A small gratuity cup before, during,
or after Spa treatment not only serves as a welcome, but heats, relaxes/stimulates, and detoxifies the body to ready it for further treatment.
During Spa treatment, the body sweats
and loses water and minerals. Tea helps
the body to replenish and give back
the body those much needed
nutrients and minerals.

How to prepare tea?
It might sound like a silly question. But most people don't know how to get the most out of their tea. Especially, when you are dealing with good quality tea, you don't need to use much tea.

As a welcome drink, or a quick refreshment during treatment small cups are perfect for drinking tea in one mouthful. No tea is wasted, nor is it sitting around too long getting cold.
A simple teapot with a strainer is ideal for getting the most out of your tea. The strainer will make sure that your tea isn't sitting in water for too long, becoming too strong or bitter. This way you can also get more steeps out of a small quantity of tea, and enjoy the tea as it opens up. Around 6 steeps can be achieved with 7g of tea.
What's the best teapot?
What cups?
Steeping your tea
Good quality tea just needs a few seconds to brew.
-
Firstly boil your water to the desired temperature. (look up in our steeping guide the temperature of water for your selected tea.)
-
Take 7g of tea to serve 4 small cups.
-
Leave the tea to sit in the water for just a few seconds, press the button on the top of the teapot. The tea will then drain away from the leaves into the bottom of the pot. (pour out the first steep, it serves to wash the leaves)
-
Pour the tea into small cups. It is best to enjoy tea by the mouthful.
-
Once you have finished the 4 cups, just add more water to the leaves. With the correct water temperature and being quick when brewing, Chinese tea can be steeped up to around 6 times.
