Tie Guan Yin / Iron Buddha

* No.1 Recommendation

Top of the list

Tie Guan Yin / Iron Buddha is one of China’s most recognizable and famous teas.

This Oolong tea is great for both newcomers and connoisseurs of Chinese tea.

Its natural, clear, and almost buttery flavour leaves a delicate lingering

aftertaste that isn’t too overpowering, but subtle enough to leave a pleasant sensation.

Tie Guan Yin can be easily enjoyed as a refreshment, or even accompanied with food.

This is why it has topped our list as the most necessary tea to have in one’s collection.

"Chinese tea's deep web of tastes make it the perfect accomplice to different types of food"

Long Jing

Dragon Well

(Green Tea)

is an intensely fragrant Green tea with a long aftertaste of nuts and butter. It has long been a favourite of Chinese tea conoissuers.

Mo Li Long Zhu

Jasmine Pearl

(Green Tea)

fresh Green tea leaves are firstly formed into small hand-rolled balls after Spring Harvest. They are then left for a number of months until the Jasmine flowers come into bloom. Jasmine flowers are then used to scent the tea. Jasmine Pearl has the light refreshing taste of Green tea, along with the beautifully infused light taste of jasmine.

Bai Hao Yin Zhen

Silver Needle

(White Tea)

the silvery furry buds of the tea leaf have been meticulously hand picked to produce this tea. It has gone through no processing, just oxidisation, giving the tea a very natural, light taste that develops into a subtle sweet aftertaste.

Lapsang Souchong

(Red Tea)

the popularity of this tea is related to its very distinct dark, smoky aroma, which often leads to comparisons  with 'peaty' whiskies. Traditionally oxidised in small, dank sheds on the mountainside, the tea is then dried over an open pinewood fire, infusing it with a unique charred, earthy character.

Shu Puer

Mini Nests

(Puer Tea)

is a 6 year old fermented tea. It has beautifully matured with time, resulting in a rich nutty aftertaste. They come in a mini size, perfect for one sitting.

Da Hong Pao

Big Red Robe

(Oolong Tea)

comes from China's revered Wuyi mountain, and is chief among Wuyi's rock teas, known for their unique rich mineral flavours that they acquire from growing on this rocky, barren terrain. Da Hong Pao has a complex taste of silky softness with a hint of  richness and notes of caramel and fruit.
